Live Tank Circuit Breakers
| Each column consist of interrupter unit, post insulators, operating rod, crank case assembly and base with operating mechanism system and control unit. The pole columns are assembled, adjusted and tested in the factory and then delivered and protected from any climate influence during transport and storage. The interrupter unit (SF6 circuit breaking chamber) is puffer-type with high performance contact system with two movable nozzles and movable blast cylinder with contact fingers which optimizes moving and fixed parts. |

The base of the pole column
The base od the circuit breakers is made of steel supporting structure which contains components of hydraulic or spring operating mechanism system.
The base is fully closed and thus completely protected from the influence of environment. The drive energy required for operation of circuit breakers pole is transmitted from the hydraulic storage cylinder or spring tension and operating mechanism via the crank case assembly and operating rod to the interrupter unit.
The excellent reliability of the electrohydraulic operating mechanism has been gained with compact design of the hydraulic block with minimal number of pipe connections.
